Entry Requirements: F-Gas Certificate
Course Objective
By the end of the day, participants will be able to:
- Understand the types, design, and components of common air conditioning systems (split, multi-split, VRF).
- Correctly plan, install, pipe, and wire an A/C split system.
- Safely perform leak testing, evacuation, and charging procedures.
- Commission and verify system performance, including pressure checks, superheat/subcooling, and airflow.
- Identify and prevent common installation issues.
- Apply safe working practices, including F-Gas responsibilities, manual handling, PPE, electrical safety, and working at height.
Outcome
Participants leave with:
- Practical skills in installing and commissioning air conditioning split systems.
- Understanding of system design, control wiring, pipe routing, and condensate management.
- Knowledge of safety, environmental, and regulatory responsibilities (including F-Gas).
- Confidence in troubleshooting and real-world installation scenarios.
- A certificate of attendance and supporting documentation.
